{dream home} a little dash of leopard

As my obsession with home style continues, I've been gravitating towards decorating with leopard.  There's just something about it.  I've always loved the pattern, but have been hesistant to use it in design for fear of it looking cheap or tacky.  As these inspiration photos show, done right leopard looks lush and luxurious.

Agreed! For years I considered leopard print too tacky for the home, but I was wrong. It is SO chic. Of course, we may laugh at that statement in ten years, but if used sparingly I think leopard totally has longevity!

I still remember when my dad did a window box seat for one of the skyrises here. I was not a fan, but after I saw that, I totally was. Love the way it looks with purple-- my favorite color.

Everyone loves leopard-print right now! Seriously. It's so hot. I have always been a fan of animal prints, though. Rawrrrrr.

I love the classiness of a spot of leopard. It is definitely the way to go when working with animal prints.

I love the classy touch a little leopard print can add. Be it an outfit OR a room. This is a great collection of photos and I love it as an inspiration source. I'm loving the leopard pillow against the bright purple color of that chair. Thanks so much for sharing!

PS: The blog is looking absolutely lovely! I love the new header and the sidebar buttons are oh so adorable. Keep up the good work! :)
