{fashion files} new year's eve

Time is going by so quickly, especially this week...I've been doing a bit of last minute prep but most everything is taken care of so I've had the chance to just spend time with the people I love (and am going to miss) the most.  With all of this moving-across-the-world hoopla, I almost forgot it's about to be a New Year!

I've had some pretty incredible New Year's Eve experiences including atop the Eiffel Tower, a party in Prague, and numerous fun celebrations with family & friends.  I'm a lucky girl.  But I must admit I'm a little sad that I won't get to dress up for NYE this year because I'll be on a plane.  The fact that that plane is taking me back to America makes it all worth it though.  Still, I thought I would share what I wish I was wearing to ring in 2012 and what in reality I will most likely be wearing.

What are you wearing for New Year's Eve?
If you need some ideas, Lauren shared some beautiful dresses last week...check it out!

until next time,
xx

Aww, too bad you won't be truly celebrating NYE this year but at least you'll be cute and comfortable. I'm doing a post later about a NYE outfit and it'll also feature a sequined dress!

I like the outfit you chose for what you WISH you were wearing... that fur is divine and so is the Chanel clutch! But, what you WILL be wearing looks pretty comfy too. Yay for being back in the USA!

Love what you wish you will be wearing. That fur is absolutely fabulous. I am still not sure about what I will be wearing because the hubby and I haven't decided on our plans. I'd love to wear something stylish like what you selected!

Haha, literally laughed out loud when I read this. Sometimes there is nothing better than some popcorn and cheap champagne, cuddled up on the couch watching the ball drop at midnight!

On a plane for New Years? Wow. But you know - it seems kinda fitting as you close one chapter and begin a new one! What better to signify this turning of the page then to literally be on a plane headed toward the States!?

That said - I'll raise a glass of bubbly for ya! :-)

XO - Marion

PS - hope packing is going well! That part is never fun..
