{fashion files} casual chic

Do you ever just need a break?
I love dressing up like most girls, but sometimes I'm just plain tired.
Waking up early is bad enough...the thought of putting on the
15 bracelets (minimum) that make-up my arm party is just unbearable.

Here's a little inspiration to still look chic yet comfortable

What do you wear to be casual chic?

Do you have a go to outfit?
For me it's always: jeans / black shirt / big necklace / flats

Am I the only one who sometimes just needs a day off from being so put together?

Happy Tuesday!
xx

{ps}:
So exciting!
Check out the lovely Lauren wearing
the Vaida necklace as a bracelet in her outfit post!
Such a fabulous idea!

{pps}:
I forgot to mention yesterday that over the next few weeks, you'll notice some more changes
Nothing about the content of the blog at all...promise!
I have lots of little homes all over the Internet for different projects that I'm working on
and I'm in the process of bringing them all together under 1 big umbrella!
So exciting! I'm getting a new website, new logo...the works!
Soon everything will be under my name, Mae Badiyan
Like I said, nothing is changing with the blog.
I just didn't want you to be totally surprised

Oh and some of you are so perceptive!
Yes, I changed my font
:)

I usually skip taking pictures of my more casual looks but these are terrific inspiration to do just that! Love it!

Some days I'm definitely too tired to plan out a fabulous outfit. My go to outfit is: cardigan over a striped shirt, scarf, jeans, and flats.

Can't wait to see the changes you have in store!

Couldn't agree more. Sometimes it feels better (and looks better) to just be simple and chic.

Right now, my casual chic is all about my chambray shirt, a huge scarf and some skinnys...usually with my favorite wedge booties :) XO brynn
p.s. thank you for popping by and following! Love your blog and your baubles! Keeping the jewels in mind for my bridesmaids!

This is great inspiration. I love this post! I'm with you - it's usually skinny jeans, flats, oversized black or white top and a crossbody bag. :)

My go to is an oversized shirt, black leggings, black boots (no heel) and a big scarf! So comfy, yet still fashionable.

Casual chic for me in the winter is a tunic, skinnies, riding boots and a scarf. Love that first look!

The other great thing about casual chic is that you can basically pull it off almost anywhere - you can dress it up with extra make-up or dress it down by taking off an item of jewelry!

I completely agree - my go to is skinny jeans, ballet pumps, leather jacket and scarf! Love these looks you've chosen :)
