Maca Chocolate Chip Balls | Sugar Free, Keto Friendly + No Bake!

I understand the impact that sugar can have on my body, so I’m really trying to reduce how much of it I eat. But let’s be real — I LOVE SWEETS. I am always perusing Pinterest for sugar-free, grain-free Keto-friendly dessert. I love these balls because not only do they fit the bill, they are also loaded with Maca. Maca is a Peruvian plant that may help with hormone balance and increased energy among many other benefits. The best part, these balls are no bake! So easy!

Maca Chocolate Chip Balls

Ingredients:

BALLS

1 and 1/4 cup Almond Flour

1/2 cup Coconut Oil Melted

1/2 cup Monkfruit Sweetener

2 tablespoons Maca powder

2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract

1/4 tablespoon Sea Salt

1/2 cup Sugar Free Chocolate Chips

CHOCOLATE COATING

1/2 cup Sugar Free Chocolate Chips

2 teaspoons Coconut Oil Melted

1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt

Directions:

For the balls, mix all the ingredients together. Then roll them into bite-sized balls. This recipes yields about 10. Place them on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Put them in the fridge to set for about 1 hour.

For the coating, mix the chocolate chips, coconut oil and salt and melt. I used the microwave in 30 second increments.

Once the balls have set, spoon the melted chocolate all over and let them cool. The parchment paper makes it easy & the chocolate won’t stick.
