How I’m Ending 2019 Strong: Last Minute Tasks!

Office Depot sponsored the post, but all opinions are my own.

This is a super hectic time of year for everyone, especially entrepreneurs. We’ve got to do all the usual holiday stuff (which can be super fun, but let’s face it: a lot!) on top of making sure that our business is fully functioning and thriving. And no matter how prepared I try to be, there are always some last-minute tasks that I’ve got to complete. But this can actually be a good thing because we’ve got so many amazing resources at our fingertips! So here’s what I’m doing to make sure the holidays go well, I finish 2019 strong and start 2020 better than ever!

Prepare Some Healthy Meals

It’s no secret that eating well can fuel our body and impact our physical and emotional well-being. Having some ready to go meals already prepared will be a lifesaver. You can’t make these too far in advance, but this is a last-minute task worth doing. Your body and your sanity will thank you!

Make Last Minute Gift Shopping Easy

I tried to be prepared with my gifts but it’s inevitable that I have to do some last minute shopping. I love Office Depot and OfficeMax for that because they are one-stop shops! They have tons of great gift ideas for employees and friends. I am OBSESSED and I do mean obsessed with the new TUL Wireless Charging Notebook. First of all, it’s discbound, which is my current favorite system – so easy to remove and add pages! I have used a discbound system in my Desk Agenda for years and I love these TUL notebooks because the covers are sturdy!

And then the most genius thing, it has a charger built into the front cover. Are you kidding me! I grabbed two – one in pink to gift to my Virtual Assistant and one in black for a gift exchange party I’m attending at the local Chamber of Commerce. Oh and I also grabbed a pink one for myself, but that’s a given! 😉 While I was at Office Depot I also got a white faux leather business card holder for my VA. So chic! Besides gifts, Office Depot and OfficeMax also offer so many services to help business run smoother for any other last-minute tasks that might pop up!

Spend 30 Minutes A Day on 2020 Prep

Ideally, we’ve been doing this for a few months now but there’s nothing like waiting until last minute to get ready for the New Year. Now I always say this but you can have a new beginning anytime, so if you’re not quite ready for a January 1 beginning that’s ok! But I still like to spend some time right at the end of the year to make sure I’m at least a little bit prepared. The New Year is an easy and natural time for most people to start fresh. I decided to use my TUL Wireless Charging Notebook as a bullet journal for 2020. I’ll be capturing all my random ideas in my head into one easy place. If you need help getting started with a bullet journal, check out my YouTube I have an entire playlist full of great resources for you. I also grabbed some Office Depot Brand Cling Notes to help in my 2020 Prep. I first saw these on Instagram and once again I am obsessed. I love that they aren’t sticky yet they cling! No planner prep is complete without brand new pens!! I picked up the TUL Limited Edition Metallic Ink pens and I love them! They are metallic gel and write so smoothly. I’m especially loving the gray and sand colors!

So these are my Top 3 last minute tasks that I’m doing to make sure I finish the year strong and go into 2020 better than ever! What other tips and tasks do you think are essential to complete to make sure the holidays and end of year are a little easier and less stressful?
