Social Justice Resources To Learn From + Action Steps To Take

Even though I grew up in a family that truly valued diversity and taught us that we are all one human race, I recognize that I still have so much to learn. I will never know firsthand what the Black community is experiencing through systematic racism. I wanted to share some quotes to address the root cause as well as inspire action. My hope is that each person takes individual responsibility to drive change and show love to everyone.

Resources

This website, entitled A Pivotal Time in America, published by The Bahai Community of the United States, outlines practical steps that we can take to bring about change. This is a very thorough resource that I’m making my way through. There’s no simple, quick answer — eliminating racism will take hard work from each of us. We must be willing to examine our own hearts and beliefs, constantly learn and always be better.

Movies & Documentaries
